Hell yeah, they’ve done a lot for me. Hell, I chatted and had lunch with Steve and his wife, Rebecca, at the SCR picnic the day that article got published! By the way, Steve’s current ride is a Gen 4/5 SRT-10 Viper, because if he can’t find the time to build a LS-powered FD RX-7 then he’ll just buy something equally-bonkers instead as his DD.
Panic has done a lot for me:
Changed out the clutch, slave cylinder, the rubber and the leather shift boots, and resurfaced my flywheel all in a single workday.
Replaced my rusty fuel pump with a good-condition NB1 fuel pump (same design, no changes between years), cleaned out all the crap in my fuel tank that was gunking up my fuel pump, and replaced my fuel filter
Let me buy numerous used parts from their growing Miata graveyard behind their shop. Many of which are still on my Miata.
Drilled out the stripped bolts that held the latches onto my hardtop for free.
Let me borrow tools to do quick work on my Miata like swap gauge cluster trim bezels and install poly door-blocks.
